Jason Titman

After graduating from CQUniversity with a Bachelor of Business in 1991, Jason Titman began his corporate career with KPMG in audit and advisory before embarking on a career spanning more than three decades as a CEO, entrepreneur, investor, board director and strategic adviser.
Jason has built, led, invested in and advised businesses across technology, fintech and digital assets, eCommerce, professional services, property, hospitality and other high-growth sectors. Throughout his career, he has worked across almost every stage of the business lifecycle, from startup and growth through to capital raising, international expansion, transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and exit.
A particular focus of Jason's career has been helping entrepreneurial businesses make the difficult transition from founder-led ventures into scalable, investable enterprises. His experience combines operational leadership with investment, strategy, governance and capital markets expertise, and he has been involved in businesses and transactions that have created significant value for founders, shareholders and investors.
Most recently, Jason served as CEO of Australian digital asset exchange Swyftx, where his responsibilities included corporate strategy, growth, capital management, M&A and navigating the rapidly evolving digital asset environment.
Today, Jason divides his time between investing through his family office, advising founders and growth companies, undertaking M&A and strategic advisory mandates, and serving in board and governance roles. He has a particular interest in Australian companies seeking to scale from successful entrepreneurial businesses into larger national and international enterprises.
Jason has also maintained a longstanding commitment to the community, education, sport and philanthropy. His board and governance experience has included serving as a Senator of The University of Queensland, a Director of the Australian Sports Foundation and of the Aussie Athlete Fund, as well as previous leadership roles including inaugural Chair of the Mater Hospital Future Fund and the Moreton Bay Colleges Foundation.
Across his career, Jason has developed a reputation as a business leader, investor, strategist and facilitator who brings together the perspectives of an operator, entrepreneur, investor and director. He continues to contribute to discussions around entrepreneurship, scaling Australian companies, investment, governance, emerging technology and the changing environment facing founders and business leaders.
Outside business, Jason has a longstanding passion for sport and adventure, as well as wine and art, and remains kept busy by his four children and family life.
CQUniversity recognised Jason's professional and community contribution by naming him the 2019 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year and is currently on the CQUniversity Commercialisation Committee.
