Many students are doing it tough
Every single person deserves to further themselves through university education, regardless of their background or personal circumstances.
Unfortunately, the reality is that financial hardship can make achieving this very difficult for some students, no matter how hardworking or deserving.
With current costs of living increasing, students are being faced with added pressure. University is not always easy, and financial stress is one of the top four reasons why university students don’t complete their studies.
How can you help?
When you donate to CQUniCares Student Success Scholarships, your generosity allows the recipient to focus on their studies without working multiple jobs and worrying about how to make ends meet.
Here's what your donation could fund:
$50: Covers a student's petrol costs to attend campus for one week.
$80: Funds internet for one month, ensuring a student can access online lectures from home.
$200: Purchases professional uniforms or safety gear for a vocational student.
$600: Covers all textbooks and digital course materials for one term.
$1,000: Allows a student to live on-campus accommodation for one month.
Donations will be pooled to enable us to award as many scholarships as possible.
If you're in a position to make a larger gift, you may wish to fund a full scholarship:
$2,500: Provides a full one-year scholarship for a vocational (TAFE) student, including funding towards transport, accommodation and equipment requirements.
$5,000: Provides a full one-year scholarship for an Undergraduate or Postgraduate student, allowing them to focus on their studies without needing to work multiple part-time jobs.
